Meet the Owners

With their roots planted here in the Four Corners, Shane & Jeanene have owned and operated Affordable Blinds for over 20 years. They love the beauty and diversity of the region and enjoy taking adventures around the Four Corners Region. They like to spend their downtime traveling and are always happy to share any insight that may be helpful to newcomers.

Shane grew up right on the Plaza in Santa Fe and had the joy of being brought up surrounded by the arts. He’s also become something of a fish tracker (He’s the guy fly fishing the river one day, and pulling fish out of the mountain stream next to the ATV dirt road and thinks is just a runoff channel). True story!

Jeanene loves nice relaxing river floats, preferably via kayak or tube. She is big on community service and has volunteered for nonprofit organizations including the River Reach Foundation and Family Crisis Center.

Jeanene loves the idea of re-purposing and is always experimenting with ideas to re-use and reinvent blinds that are removed from clients’ homes. She is happy to share ideas <this should be a link> on how to re-use your “old” blinds.
Some of these are available on the Pinterest page.
